Hey Beauties! :D

Today's topic is all about blemishes. They seem to make a home on our faces and then invite their friends. (How rude, right?!) Well, here is a step by step guide on how to kick 'em out!

  • Firstly, wash your face with a cleanser. If you have not used a cleanser before and you aren't sure which one to use just click here. (This link will be available at the end of the blog post as well, in case you wanted to read the whole blog post first.)
  • Pat the skin dry.
  • Place a slightly warm, wet cloth over your whole face for about 10-15 minutes.
  • Pat the skin dry.
  • Using a tissue over each finger (this helps to prevent tearing of the skin) apply even, soft pressure to the sides of the blemish area. You want to be gently pressing down and then up and around the blemish.
  • Do this once or twice only. If nothing happens this means that the blemish can't be removed. If you continue to try, you will bruise the skin, which can cause scarring.
  • Be sure to use 2.5% benzoyl peroxide solution after you are done.
  • You can also follow up with a facial mask to soothe the skin and reduce inflammation.
This is a pretty soothing mask, and it's not too pricey either.

Well beauties, I hope you had some success. If you have any other questions or concerns just post a comment below.

Oh, and one more thing... I wrote a blog post all about pimples and their causes. Click here to find out more! And if you want to double check if you are using the right cleanser just click here.

  1. Thanks a ton for this review. Also, to add on, the best way to reduce blemishes is to stop touching your face, not lay your fingers or hand on it and avoid dirty tools and applicators.

    1. You are welcome! Thank you for leaving a comment!! And thank you for some extra advice too! :)
