  • Do not buy foundation, unless you have tried it on (and seen what it looks like in the sunlight).
  • When finding a foundation match, do not match it to the back of your hand (I see this all the time).
  • Do not wear a foundation that is either too light or too dark.
  • Do not wear pink, ashy, rose or orange coloured foundation.
  • Do not wear oil based foundations, unless you have SUPER dry skin.

  • Do not use your fingers to blend your foundation, unless you are going to use a sponge afterwards.
  • Do not apply your foundation on thick.
  • Cream to powder foundations work best for normal skin.

  • Do not wear oil free foundations, unless you have oily skin.
  • If you have wrinkles, less is more when it comes to foundation - do not add heaps of foundation in the lines.
  • Blend your foundation past your jawline, unless you want the lovely foundation line.
