DYING MY HAIR AT HOME. WHAT BOX DYES DO I USE?

Hey Beauties! :D

I'm definitely a savvy shopper and getting my hair done professionally is always quite expensive. So sometimes I have to use box dyes. I know some people hate box dyes but I've found a few of them to be pretty good, especially for their price. The ONLY time I WON'T use a box dye is when I'm going blonde. I have brown hair naturally and when ever I do it, I end up with orange hair. So I don't mind spending the dollars to get it professionally done.

I can tell you now that I've tried HEAPS of boxed dyes. Some have worked really well, while others haven't changed my hair at all. So, below is a list of hair dyes that have worked for me. *Note I have brown hair*

Schwarzkopf LIVE Salon Gloss - SEMI PERMANENT

Schwarzkopf LIVE Salon Gloss leaves hair with vibrant colour and shine. The ammonia-free formula contains micro-colour particles, which are gently blended onto the hair’s surface for sensational colour results.

Schwarzkopf Colour Specialist - PERMANENT

This at-home hair colour is enriched with professional anti-breakage technology, Omegaplex. It delivers long-lasting colour intensity and perfect grey coverage, while protecting and reinforcing the hair bonds.

L’Oréal Paris Excellence Age Perfect - Cremé Colour - PERMANENT

This formula contains Layered-Colour Technology to colour grey hair and create a layered, tonal effect, leaving hair appearing as if it has been highlighted. It also contains collagen to texturise and ceramide T to repair and protect mature hair.

Clairol Natural Instincts - SEMI PERMANENT

Clairol Natural Instincts is a hair colour range with 80 per cent naturally derived ingredients that gives you healthy looking colour that lasts up to 28 washes. This semi-permanent colour includes coconut oil and aloe vera and is formulated without ammonia or added parabens. Blends away greys and enhance natural colour in only 20 minutes. Clairol Natural Instincts also features ME+ an allergy gentle molecule, a revolutionary hair dye molecule that better protects people without hair dye allergy by reducing the chance of developing one.

These are my go to box dyes. I've used them countless times and I've gotten great results every time.
