Hey Beauties! :D

For as long as I can remember, I've been using pore strips. Since I wear alot of makeup for work, my pores are bound to get all clogged up. And sometimes after a long day, I'm a bit lazy when it comes to removing all my makeup, which of course... clogs up my pores even more!

Luckily, there are pore strips to get rid of the junk in my pores. So which ones do I use? To find out, just keep reading...

I'm pretty sure that most of you reading this have used the Biore pore strips. They have always been a popular pore strip at Priceline (Australian drug store/ pharmacy). I usually go for the deep cleansing ones as they work really well for me. But this time I thought I might try the charcoal and the forehead pore strips. For this blog post, I'm going to focus on the charcoal pore strips because they are the newest on the market.

I was quite curious to try these charcoal pore strips because I've written heaps of blog posts about how charcoal in skincare and haircare has been very effective. So I gave my boyfriend one to try and then I did one myself. I was actually quite blown away! There were quite a lot of black heads that stuck to the pore strip. I didn't even know that my pores were so clogged up! My boyfriend- Mitch, had SO many on his too! I honestly think they work better than the deep cleansing ones, which I usually buy. I think I may have to switch to these ones instead.

Ok, so I clearly LOVE the Biore pore strips, but what else can I tell you about pores, blackheads and pore strips. Well, I have a few bits of information that I've stored in my noggin.

Number 1! Did you know that pore strips have tiny slits along the top and bottom to create a custom fit for every nose?

Number 2! Those cheeky blackheads won't go away over time, PLUS they can stretch your pores and make them bigger! Not cool guys.

Number 3! Don't squeeze those blackheads! I know they are really mean and you just want to get rid of them, but don't do it. Just use a pore strip, because they help to gently lift debris from the pores without damaging your skin.

Lastly! Like all Biore products, pore strips are dermatologically tested and hypoallergenic. So if you have sensitive skin, you can use them!
