Hey Beauties! :D

After a long day, sometimes getting your makeup off can be a mission. Is it okay to use wipes to take off your makeup after a long day? Keep reading if you want to find out! (Disclaimer: The image I have used does not have any association with this blog post.)

We all know that sleeping with makeup on is the worst thing you can do for your skin. Not only does makeup clog your pores, but it also collects dirt and could make your skin inflamed. I understand that sometimes when you get home you don't really feel like removing your makeup, so some of us go for the quick makeup wipe (guilty). They are easy to use and you don't even need to walk to the sink.

BUT... It's important to realise that makeup wipes shouldn't be used to replace cleaning your skin. Most makeup wipes are packed with chemicals which make removing makeup pretty easy. However, have you ever wondered what happens to those chemicals on your skin? Well, they just stay there. Plus, if they contain alcohol (which most do), it can be very drying on your skin (so definitely not good for those winter months).

So if you are set on using makeup wipes, the best thing you can do for your skin is to rinse your face afterwards. And yes you maybe thinking, "What's the point, I'll just cleanse my face with a liquid makeup remover then." And you definitely have a point there. I guess at least taking off your makeup is a good thing, but just think about what those chemicals are doing on your skin.

Well beauties, I hope you enjoyed my short post on makeup remover wipes. Let me know in the comments what you use!
